WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS THINK...
"Mattman240 says the pizza is expensive? Perhaps, compared to the cardboard they serve at the "O" it is... Frankly, I'm stunned that pizza so consistently good is so reasonably priced. Our usual "small plain" (serves two capably) is only about $8. I give Aiello's a slight edge over Mineo's, btw..."

"No doubt the best, been a regular for years, no b.s. just good pizza, the most consistent anywhere and the staff doesn't watch TV unlike the other joint down the street. Joe wouldn't put up with it!"
"No doubt about it....best pizza in the city...don't know about the other staff, but Joe is tremendous friendly, kind, and really appreciates his customers."
"Hands down, best pizza I've eaten. Anyone who doesn't get along with Mr A. has a character defect. This guy appreciates his customers. Best Pizza I ever ate."
"The pizza is the bestest!"

"Mr. Corbin, I could not agree with you more. I am a senior at Central Catholic right now, and I assent that without a doubt Aiello's beats Mineo's. In addition to just having better pizza, Joe Aiello is an absolutely wonderful man with whom to converse. Be reassured, Sir, that most of the contemporary Vikings share your view on the Murray Avenue Question 100%."

"da-best!"
"I don't know which is better. The pizza or having a conversation with Joe! You can't go wrong. The hoagies are the best also!!"
"There is no other sauce that compares to Joe's anywhere! It complements the cheese and crust and does not get overwhelmed like others. I get one off the top of the oven, take it home and make sure i have a bottle of merlot nearby. Brother-in-law demands it when visiting Pittsburgh from LA. Joe is da man!!"

"I have been out of Pgh for 11 years. Have eaten pizza in 25 states and no one can compare to Aiello’s. I miss being there and talking to Mr. Aiello and enjoying fine pizza."
"The cuts are simply good. However, order a whole pie fresh (slightly well done) and this is no doubt the best pizza in the burgh! Skip the chains and the so called gourmet stuff...nothing compares to Aiello's. Signed, A pizza pie connoisseur."
"Simply to say, one of the best. Love the sausage the he uses. Have him bake it just little bit more that normal and the suasage is great."
"I've eaten my double-sausage/mushroom pizza since my college days & have gone regularly with my husband and 2 college-aged kids ever since. It's the best!! Marion says so!!"
"Simply the best pizza in Western PA. Try the pizza thats been sitting up top of the ovens that was made for individual cuts--have them warm it up for a few minutes, then top it off w/romano cheese thats located on the counter + other condiments --the dough is freshly made right there-- they use nothing but the best ingredients!! The man who owns this place use to be the main pizza maker at mineos 3 doors down..Thin crust--just terific!! After you've tried this place, write me at: rickw3dve@aol.com and let me now what you think... A 5 star rating from this customer..."

Great pizza - no frills - This place is great. The pizza is right off the boat and tastes wonderful. The cheese is not the cheap stuff down the street, but is the real thing. The best is the sausage pizza and the subs. Off the top pizza works for a quick bite.
